Does your organization have a budget for the current fiscal year?

A budget is not the same as a "financial statement." A financial statement (such as an audit report) shows how funds were spent in the last fiscal year. In contrast, a budget is a projection that provides an estimated forecast of expenditures for the current or a future fiscal year.
